የኢትዮጵያ ቨርቿል ሩጫ ምንድን ነው? WHAT IS ETHIOPIAN VIRTUAL RUN?

አንጋፋና ብርቅዬ አትሌቶቻችን በያሉበት ቦታ ሆነዉ፣ ተራ በተራ እየመሩን በቀጥታ በዙም (Zoom)፣ በፌስቡክ ላይቭ እና ዩቲዩብ ላይቭ ላይ በተለያዩ የዓለም ክፍል የምንገኝ ኢትዮጵያዊያንን በተመሳሳይ ሰዓት (በኢትዮዽያ ግንቦት 8 በ11:00 ሠዓት ላይ) በአንድ ላይ የሚያሳትፍና የሚያሰባስብ ዝግጅት ነዉ። ተሳታፊዎችም በቤት ዉስጥ አልያም ግቢ ዉስጥ፣ ወይም በትሬድ ሚል ላይ ሆነን ጆግ እያደረግን በስልካችን፣ በኮሚፒውተር ወይም ከቴሌቪዠን ጋር ስርጭቱን አገናኝተን አትሌቶችንን እየተከተልን የምንሳተፍበት ነዉ።

የዙም (Zoom) ቴክኖሎጂው የሚፈቅደው ለ1,000 ተሳታፊዎች ብቻ በመሆኑ ቀድመዉ በመመዝገብ ቦታውን ይያዙ።
በዙም ሲሳተፉም፣ የበለጠ የአማረ ጊዜ ይኖርዎታል። ከሌሎች በየትኛውም የዓለም ክፍል ከሚኖሩና ለዝግጅቱ ከተመዘገቡ ኢትዮጵያዊን ጋር እየተያዩና ከቤተሰቦቻቸው ጋር ሆነው የሚካፈሉበት ይሆናል።

Our legendary athletes will be joining Ethiopians from around the world on ZOOM, Facebook live, and YouTube live at 10:00am EDT on the 16th of May, 2020. We will have an opportunity to run/ jog from inside our house, backyard or treadmill side-by-side with (and led by) our legendary athletes. We can access the livestream from our phone, computer or TV set.

Zoom allows to broadcast an event live only to up to 10000 view-attendees. Register now to reserve your place. When you join from Zoom, you will have an opportunity to be randomly picked by our legendary athletes for a brief interaction with them, and you will also get a chance to see other fellow Ethiopians joining the event live.

ዓላማዉ ምንድን ነው? WHAT IS THE OBJECTIVE?

ኮቪድ 19 በዓለም ዙሪያ ከፈጠረዉ የጤና ፈተናና ኢኮኖሚያዊ ጫና ጎን ለጎን፣ በማህበረሰባችን ላይ ስነልቦናዊ ተፅዕኖ አሳድሯል። ያለውን ስጋትና ጭንቀት በተወሰነ ደረጃ ለመቀየር እዲያግዝ አትሌቶቻችን ‘አይዟችሁ በርቱ: ይህም ጊዜ ያልፋል’ ለማለት ፣ በመላው አለም ከሚገኙ ወገኖቻችን ጋር ተራርቀን በአንድነት የምንሳተፍበት ዝግጅት ነዉ። ከዝግጅቱ የሚገኝው ገቢም በኮቪድ 19 ዙሪያ ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ ለሚሰሩ ድርጅቶች የሚበረከት ነው።

At these uncertain, unprecedented, and challenging times, our legendary athletes will be joining Ethiopians around the world to help keep our spirits up and to say ‘Stay safe and stay strong. We will get through this together.’ Proceeds from the event will be donated to Ethiopian based non-profit organization helping out the COVID-19 prevention/ mitigation effort.
ማን መሳተፍ ይችላል/ WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

ዝግጅቱ ለማንም ሰው ክፍት ነው። በቤተሰብ ሆኖ መመዝገብ ይበረታታል። Anyone is welcomed. Families are encouraged.
