Both Clinton and Trump will meet Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Monday, as the grueling presidential contest enters its final weeks. They will also meet other world leaders in town for the United Nations General Assembly on Monday. However, the two presidential contenders will do so with quite different agendas.

Clinton meets Japanese PM

Clinton also met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. Clinton used the meetings with the three world leaders to stress her facility with high-level diplomacy attained by years of service.

Clinton also touched on North Korea and the rise of China with Japan’s Abe. Clinton told Sisi that she looked forward to talking about the journey to come up with a completely new civil society. She described it as a new modern country that upholds the rule of law that respects human rights.

Convinced voters

Trump on the other side used the meetings to convince voters that he is qualified to serve as commander in chief in U.S. He also met with Sisi on Monday evening in New York where the two discussed about the bilateral relationship between the US and Egypt. The information was released from Trump campaign sources.

Sisi is said to be the second foreign leader Trump has met with since becoming the Republican nominee.

Elections scheduled November 2016

The United States presidential election of 2016 is scheduled for November 8, 2016. It will be the 58th quadrennial U.S. presidential election.

Electorates are set to elect presidential electors, who will vote for a new president and vice president through the Electoral College. The term limit established in Twenty-second Amendment to the United States Constitution prevents the incumbent president vying for a third term. The 2016 election will determine the 45th President and 48th Vice President of U.S.
