Clinton also met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko. Clinton used the meetings with the three world leaders to stress her facility with high-level diplomacy attained by years of service.
Clinton also touched on North Korea and the rise of China with Japan’s Abe. Clinton told Sisi that she looked forward to talking about the journey to come up with a completely new civil society. She described it as a new modern country that upholds the rule of law that respects human rights.
Trump on the other side used the meetings to convince voters that he is qualified to serve as commander in chief in U.S. He also met with Sisi on Monday evening in New York where the two discussed about the bilateral relationship between the US and Egypt. The information was released from Trump campaign sources.
Sisi is said to be the second foreign leader Trump has met with since becoming the Republican nominee.
